Project Sunshine kicks off the year with a call-out meeting and continues with a meeting on Sept. 15 after school in the Greyhound Station. The meeting will consist of handing out locker signs, code of conduct forms as well as t-shirt forms. They will also be making craft kits for both Riley and Peyton Manning children’s hospital. “(I) am very honored to be taking over from Molly Fletchall,” Hannah Bromm, sophomore and co-president of Project Sunshine, said.
The two other co-presidents of Project Sunshine are sophomores Hannah Glazier and Nyssa Qiao. “(My) favorite thing about Project Sunshine is definitely the joy it brings to the kids, and the fact that it gives me that ability to bring that joy,” Bromm said.
“It is an honor to sponsor Project Sunshine and to work with a group of such motivated and caring students,” Allyson Wells-Podell, Project Sunshine sponsor and English teacher, said.
