Junior Class officers plan prom

According to Junior Class president Avi Mishra, the Junior Class officers and the prom committee are planning for the upcoming prom that is scheduled to take place on April 30. Tickets will be sold from April 11 to April 29 every school day in the main cafeteria.

Mishra said, “The theme for prom is still going to be “a night in Paris” with the venue having a theme of Paris. The tickets themselves will have some resemblance of Paris on them. The time for prom is scheduled to take place from 8 p.m. to midnight, and the after-party is scheduled to take place from 12:30 to 3 a.m.”

Junior Class sponsor Maureen Borto said, “The cost of the tickets for prom will be $35, and this will include the cost for the after-party at Woodland Bowl. If students wish to bring someone from another school to prom, forms can be picked up from the dean’s office and must be filled out before tickets are purchased. So far we have booked prom to be at The Fountains, and they will be catering the snacks and desserts for us.”

Mishra said, “I believe this prom will be successful and will definitely be a blast for those who attend it; I really recommend those allowed to come to attend prom, because it will be a night to remember.” By Eric He
