The media staff and the AVID students filled several displays with 9/11 memorabilia and posters to commemorate the tenth anniversary of 9/11 this month.
“9/11 is a time of remembrance,” Media department chairperson Bonnie Grimble said, “of honoring those who perished and died while doing the work of our country.”
According to Grimble, the AVID students planned and put up the all the displays except for one display inside the front lobby that media manager Michelle Martin worked on.
“The displays were all student-planned and produced,” Grimble said.
Martin filled the cabinet inside the lobby with various books on 9/11, a ribbon made out of a calendar, bumper stickers and handmade posters.
“(9/11) is a memory I won’t ever forget,” Martin said. “I put up the display because I want the students, some of them who probably remember, to really appreciate what we’ve went through and what we had to overcome.”

It was a good display and article for remembance of the 9/11. But, there were a little sorry that you did not show the handmade poster in this artilcle. I think many readers want to see the poster including the vivid photos and comments of authors on 9/11.
