WHJE will be DJing events at Forest Dale Elementary School and Prairie Trace Elementary School on Nov. 15 and Nov. 18, respectively.

The event at Forest Dale will be a cast and crew party for the 109-student crew of an all-school play as well as their parents. WHJE will be providing music for the party.

The event at Prairie Trace will be a father-daughter dance. WHJE will provide music for this event as well.

Events like the ones at Forest Dale and Prairie Trace aren’t the only school events WHJE will be at in the coming weeks.

“A lot of elementary schools and middle schools are calling us now . . . and we’re going out hosting these events,” radio teacher Brian Spilbeler said.

WHJE promotions director Ariel Byam has been organizing many of the events WHJE will be at. Byam says her job can be quite difficult.

“It’s actually kind of stressful because you really need to be on top of things,” said Byam.

Nevertheless, Byam continues organizing events for WHJE and schools across Carmel.
