French Club members to decorate locker signs

French Club members plan to decorate locker signs near the end of November in Room A223.

Lucy Terhune, president of French Club and junior, said “I’ve never had a locker sign for anything. I’m excited to get one for French Club because I really care about this club.”

On Nov. 12, French Club members went to view the opera “La Boheme,” based on the French novel by Henri Murger, at IU Bloomington.

“I hope that the students enjoyed the opportunity to view the opera that we have been studying in class and discussing with French Club,” Andrea Yocum, sponsor of the French Club, said.

Jacob Tehrani, treasurer of French Club and junior, said that he wasn’t initially excited to view the opera.

“I almost backed out of going last minute, but I am so glad that I went. It was fantastic,” Tehrani said.

Yocum said she has confidence in the officers of French Club.

“The officers are doing a good job of keeping everyone involved in the club and of making new members feel welcome also. They are one of the best officers I’ve had in a long time,” Yocum said.

…I did not go to La Boheme because of a prior comportment. So that part about me is wrong, sorry!
