Chemistry Club members will meet Jan. 23 in Room E243 to continue studying for the American Chemical Society Exams, which will take place in the first week of March, according to club sponsor Virginia Kundrat.
The meetings will consist of the co-leaders senior Ray Qian and junior Melinda Song pulling questions from previous competitions to assist in the club members’ studying. These questions mostly focus on subjects not covered thoroughly elsewhere in the club.
While Kundrat said the preparations are not stressful for the students, she said she thinks members are studying very well.
“It’d be nice to see somebody go to the national level,” Kundrat said.
Club members have also determined that they want to do more elementary school demonstrations sometime in the year, although they do not yet know when or where.
