Fantasy Sports Club members will draft teams for the fantasy baseball season on March 8. At the upcoming meeting, the club members that want to participate in fantasy baseball will be a part of the draft.
At the call-out meeting for fantasy baseball earlier this month, Fantasy Sports Club members talked about how to set up for the draft and how it will work. This type of draft is unlike the one used for fantasy football. The members will draft the first ten players, and then the club presidents will divide up the rest of the players. Only about 10 people attended the meeting but more will come to the draft that is scheduled for March 8.
“Fantasy baseball is fun because it is a long season and games are constantly occurring,” Clay Morrisson, club president and senior said via-email.
Even though a call-out meeting for Fantasy Sports Club just took place, new members can join at any time. They just have to stop into club sponsor Mike Meyer’s room, Room E203.
“The best part about being in the Fantasy Sports Club is interacting with all of the other members,” Morrisson said. “Anyone should join if they like sports.”
