The speech team patiently waits as the 2012-2013 season begins as there will be a new season along with a new school year.
John Love, speech team sponsor and English teacher, said that he is ecstatic for the upcoming season. Love said that he can’t wait to see more people join the team especially freshmen. Love said that he will be excited to see how successful will his team be with his veteran upperclassmen and new members.
“I can’t wait to see what we have for store in this new season,” Love said.
Robert “Bobby” Greaser, speech team member and sophomore, is also excited for the upcoming season. He said that he can’t wait to do better during the new season. Greaser was in the speech team in all three years of middle school and in his freshman year as well. Greaser finished 6th in state in radio broadcasting last year. As the school year begins, Greaser is excited to see what he can bring during the speech team season.
“I’m ready to show all I got during this new season.” Greaser said.
