According to Victoria “Tori” Singleton, Wild Bunch president and senior, the date for the Wild Bunch basketball tailgate is still currently in the decision making process. Singleton and the club’s sponsor, Wendy Gerardot, said they hope more students will get excited about this school’s sporting events and go to other games, besides football.
Although Wild Bunch has had more activity with locker signs and spirits wear, there are still a lot of people who don’t participate often in the club’s actual events. Because the club is made up seniors, it is hard for them find the time to go to all of the games for every sport. As they get ready to go into college, untangle scheduling conflicts, attempt to finish their homework in time and spend time with their friends, going to every game sometimes takes a backseat.
Irene Georgiadis, sister to a Wild Bunch club member and freshman, said, “My sister got a locker sign but has never actually went to one of the games, but if anyone asks she’s in Wild Bunch.”
However, there are still many members who show up to the games with their signs and cheer for this school’s teams.
