Dine on a Dime, an event created in response to a grant from an organization called the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, will take place on Jan.29 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the program room of the Carmel Clay Public Library (CCPL).
Students will have an opportunity to save money by learning how to make foods at home that they would usually buy at restaurants.
Students can learn more about the event at www.carmel.lib.in.us/calendar/calendar.cfm?dept=Young+Adult.
According to Jamie Beckman, Young Adult Librarian at the CCPL, the best way for CHS students to get involved is to simply be there.
“We hope CHS students will take advantage of it,” Beckman said.
