All telecommunication students will be working on studio programs and shows that will air throughout the summer. The advanced telecommunication classes will work on a year-end review show, which wraps up the whole CHS year in an hour long studio program. The intermediate telecommunications students will be working on creating two studio episodes that will be about 15 minutes each, and the first year telecommunication students are preparing for announcements next year, according to CHTV sponsor Erin Earnest.
“The CHS year end review show is a great way for seniors to leave their legacy and take a look back at their senior year.” Earnest said. “All these projects are a great opportunity to showcase all the production skills the students have learned all year round.”
Ryan Beery, intermediate telecommunications student and junior, said he is currently working on the two 15 minute video projects by preparing scripts and getting ready to shoot.
“We like to think of this stuff on the spot, and we are just going to go with it. We are thinking about a variety of shows like a Top Gear type of thing featuring what students here are driving and a summer show.” Beery said. “I really like this project because it gets us to work as a whole group instead of two people, and you get to hang out with your friends. It’s just a good environment and experience.”
