On Jan. 11, WHJE had an Open House with a show that celebrated WHJE’s 50-year anniversary.
WHJE member and senior Samuel Pickett said that the month of January has been pretty uneventful compared to some of the other months. “Everybody is still getting back into the rhythm so we don’t usually have a lot of events,” he said.
However, WHJE is still looking into hosting some events. Pickett said, “We may be looking into having a Cub Scout night (when) the boys can come and look around and earn a badge.”
In February, WHJE will receive some requests for hosting events. Pickett said, “We have lots of carnivals for different schools. We also have Dance Marathon and the (Gatsby-themed winter dance on Feb. 7).”
