The men’s tennis team will begin the Regional tournament in Kokomo. According to Head Coach Mike Bostic via email, the Regional will be today and tomorrow in Kokomo.
Bostic said, “I think the toughest team we will face in the Regional would have to be West Lafayette. They are a top 20 team.”
Elliott Yee, senior and captain, said, “Just staying focused through our matches should be the biggest key.”
According to Bostic, the team has not switched up its training methods in preparation to the game. Yee said, “I’m just practicing a lot, working on things with our team and doing a lot of different drills.”
Yee said that fans could come out to Kokomo at 4:30 to support the team. Bostic said, “We are ready for Regional competition. Our team has been working hard in practice and I expect us to play well. The team would really love the support of the student body.”
