LifeLines will meet on Nov. 12 after school in Room A201 to discuss future events and activities.
Sponsor Rebekah Overbey said the next big event after Red Ribbon Week is Pre-Winter Break Awareness Week, which will be from Dec. 8-12.
“To increase awareness of how you treat one another is really our focus with Pre-Winter Break,” Overbey said. “Again, we’ll hit the making good choices about drinking and driving and usage of drugs and hopefully nobody will use them, but we know there’s still a problem, so we keep just encouraging and making people aware.”
Member and senior Eileen Chou said she thinks Red Ribbon Week went well.
“I think that it is important to understand and live out the idea behind Red Ribbon Week,” she said. “I hope that we will be able to help students become more aware about our upcoming events.”
