Chess Club pizza party Oct. 12

Chess club had a pizza party Oct. 12 to celebrate the club’s existence. The members bought pizza and soda and played chess, as well as a few other board games, to enjoy having the club meet every Monday after school in room F104 this year.

“I allow the students to plan everything, including pizza parties. They decided to make it a big deal,” sponsor Margaret Winans said.

Co-leader and junior Rohan Arora decided it would be an exciting way to bring in people to learn how to play chess and just have a good time at the meeting.
