After the research trip to IU, on Oct. 25-27, Astronomy Club continues to use the pictures they took with a telescope in Arizona to learn about the universe and the processes of astronomy.“We’re determining what we can find by using filters to look at the heat of stars and their distance,” Calvin Summers, member of Astronomy Club and junior, said.
“We’re learning how to use the software we’re using,” Meera Chander, “ring leader” of Astronomy Club and senior, said.
The club is also preparing to make a 40 minute presentation to the Indiana Astronomical Society at one of their monthly meetings. These presentations are usually presented by experts involved in the organizations, so Astronomy Club is honored to be able to present to them. Their presentation will be on their observations on the photos that they took at IU. By Miranda Huang <[email protected]>
