Anime Club to attend Gencon, gaming convention

Anime Club is planning to attend Gencon, or a gaming convention. Gencon occurs between August 5-8. Club president Jessica Backurinskiy said, “This is my first gaming convention but I’m very excited.”

To go to Gencon with Anime Club, all that students need to do is talk with Backurinskiy. Club president Rita Winters said since it is not through the school no forms need to be filled out. Because the event is not an official club function, students will need to pay for themselves. Backurinskiy said, “We’re planning on meeting up at Gencon and maybe all wearing the same shirts.”
