French Club to host clothing drive

The French Club is planning to organize a clothing drive that will benefit victims from last January’s earthquake in Haiti. The clothing drive will send badly needed articles of clothing to the country that was ravaged by the natural disaster nearly three months ago.

The club is still in the planning stages of the fundraiser.

Spring break plans of visits to authentic French restaurants in Clay Terrace have been completed by the French Club.

The club attended Petite Chou in Clay Terrace, where authentic cuisines and deserts are served. Also, on April 17, the club visited the Art Institute of Chicago to spotlight French artwork by artists studied in class.

The French Club meets every first Wednesday of the month in Yocum’s room at 3:15 in A223. By Matt Davidson <[email protected]>
