On Sept. 24, the CHS aquatic center will host its first monthly family swim time from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Admission is $4.
According to aquatic center director Kinsey Wallace, the new program will allow community members to use the CHS natatorium. In the past, Carmel residents have been restricted to using the aquatic center only during open lap times.
“There will be water polo, the diving boards will be open; it’ll be a lot of fun,” Wallace said.
Swimmer and freshman Claudia Sherman thinks the CHS aquatic center is great for both students and adults.
“It’s a great place to just escape from the world,” Sherman said.
