Ambassadors continue preparation for Holiday Spectacular

With the end of the fall choir concert, the Ambassadors are now busy polishing their material for the upcoming Holiday Spectacular. This annual holiday performance will take place in the Dale E. Graham Auditorium Dec. 1 to Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 4 to Dec. 5 at 2 p.m.

Tickets for the show are available now and can be purchased for $7, $10, $12 or $15, depending on seat location, at the bookstore here.

According to Lamonte Kuskye, Ambassadors sponsor and performing arts teacher, the Ambassadors practice from 6 to 9 p.m. every Wednesday night and are currently using this time to rehearse Holiday Spectacular material.

“We started (preparing for Holiday Spectacular) pretty much right after the fall concert,” said Jessamyn Anderson, Ambassadors co-president and senior. “It’s one of the only things we work on until (Holiday Spectacular) is over.”

Anderson said that this year, the Ambassadors have two songs that they will perform alone, “What I Got You for Christmas” and “Pinball Santa.” In addition to these numbers, members will participate in more than eight others in total.

“The show is going to be incredible,” Anderson said. “I think anyone would enjoy it. I can’t wait for people to see this amazing show we have all worked so hard to put together.” By Cassie Dugan <[email protected]>
