TechHOUNDS members continue to polish their preparation for the near build season, which will take place after winter break, by finishing up their preseason and the drive train project.

“Nothing really has changed,” George Giltner, TechHOUNDS team sponsor, said. “We have two more meetings until the season, and we’ve finished the drive train and figured out some changes to make.”

Giltner said that he was pleased with the members’ progress overall but said he was especially impressed with the new members.

“I’m very impressed,” Giltner said. “Since we’ve had a preseason, I think we’re going to have a successful build season.”

Ateev Gupta, veteran member of the TechHOUNDS team and junior, said that he agrees. “(The new members) are learning very quickly. They’re helping out the people involved, and it’s great.”

Gupta also said that the build season looks good.

“With having many new members and them learning so quickly as well as our leaders, it’s going to work out pretty well,” Gupta said. By David Choe
