The next meeting for Spanish Club will take place on Feb. 7, according to sponsor Kay Vazquez. Vazquez said she hopes the club will continue to uphold its purpose and sponsor worthy causes that also explore Hispanic culture. This semester five new members joined the club, putting the total number of members at approximately 50.
“We will be planning our first activity for this semester as well as having some food,” Vazquez said.
According to Lindsey Walker, Spanish Club president and junior, the next meeting will prove to be vital for members hoping to contribute.
“All of the members are also encouraged to bring ideas for events they would like to happen this semester,” Walker said. “This way, they can come up with things that they think would be fun for everyone.”
