According to Jerry Brickley, Creative Writing Club sponsor and English teacher, everyone is welcome to come to the club meetings that will take place every Tuesday after school in Room E148.

“If they (students) enjoy writing, if they like writing stories or poems or anything like that and want to share and get help with it then it’s the place to be,” Brickley said. This is the second year of the club and members usually share their writing and have it critiqued by fellow members.

“Right now, we’re really trying to get a feel for what we want to do. We’ll see who all shows up and what they’re interested in,” Alexis Beck, president and senior said. Some major events the club is planning to organize are a few literary magazines and the Creative Writing Contest.

“We would like to improve and become more active as a club,” Beck said.
