Comedy Sportz is gearing up to start their season. According to sponsor Jim Peterson, a coach from Indianapolis will be coming to this school on Nov. 2 to help the members with their training. Although their games don’t begin until February, Peterson said they will practice to prepare themselves.

Comedy Sportz member and junior Bill Pfohl said, “The matches take place at CHS, and other schools on Friday’s. We play a team from another school. The matches are like live ‘whose line is it anyway’.”

“For this quarter we plan to really just practice and go to the workshops. We have practice after school on Fridays, and the workshops are certain Saturdays,” Pfohl said.

Peterson said the team won’t be getting busy until January, when exhibitions and mock matches begin. As of now, the members will just be having rehearsals to get ready for their first match in February.
