As graduation approaches for the seniors at CHS, so is the annual Gradfest funded by the PTO.
Gradfest, according to PTO’s president Becky Barker, “It is a fun-filled night for seniors to come together after graduation for one last ‘Hurrah!’ with their fellow classmates.”
Jean Freudenthal, PTO Grafest board head, said, “The event is held the evening of graduation (June 2nd). Graduates play free carnival and casino games, eat free food and win fabulous prizes.”
The Gradfest tradition of raffling off prizes such as iPads, iPods and mini-refrigerators will be continuing this year.
Students who show up will have the opportunity to play a variety of games, socialize with friends, and win prizes.
According to Freudenthal, Gradfest has been a Carmel High School tradition for over twenty-five years.
