The men’s tennis team will have its Semistate tournament on Saturday, October 8, according to Head Coach Mike Bostic.
“We expect a good challenge from Munster,” Bostic said. “They always play with a lot of heart and enthusiasm, and I look for us to match their intensity.
Captain and senior Elliot Yee said via email that he thinks the team needs to maintain its sense of direction. “I’m just practicing with the team a lot and I’m doing lots of drills,” Yee said.
If the team wins its Semistate tournament, then it will move on to the State tournament, which Yee said he is looking forward to. “If we keep winning, then October 14 we will have a game at home,” Yee said. “We really want people’s support for that one.”
