The men’s tennis team defeated Guerin this past Friday in the Sectional 5-0. Head Coach Mike Bostic said the team played really sharp against Guerin
“Our tough schedule has really prepared us and we will look to build upon our sectional win,” Bostic said via email. . The team plays Lafayette Harrison on Tuesday Oct. 8 at Kokomo.
Azad Koya, tennis player and sophomore, said the win over Guerin was easy. “We played them before and we knew what to do,” Koya said.
As the team prepares for Lafayette Harrison Tuesday Koya and Bostic said the team will practice just like any other match. “We will stick to our routines no matter what round of the playoffs,” Bostic said.
Both Koya and Bostic expect to come out with a win this Tuesday. “I expect us to play our best tennis in the next two weeks,” Bostic said.
