According to Science Olympiad sponsor, Cyndy Henry, the callout meeting will be held after school in room B223.

Henry said, “My continuing goal is to keep improving at the state tournament. We were sixth last year at state. I’d like to be higher than that this year.”

Celina Tragesser, logistics manager and build leader, said all the officers have a PowerPoint planned that explains what Science Olympiad is about and all the different events in Science Olympiad.  She said that they will give a diagnostic test to all the members so they can find out what they are good at and what they are interested in.

Like Henry, Tragesser hopes that the club will make it to state this year and make it to nationals.

“We just want a really dedicated group of people who really want to study and learn science and have fun while doing it. It’s always fun,” Tragesser said.
