WHJE is planning on expanding its broadcast program during the school year. According to staff member and sophomore Ben Goldberg, station will focus on improving its quality and presence in the community.

“This year, we are increasing our voice online by posting more audio on our website as well as public sites,” Goldberg said. “My plans (for WHJE) this year is to find the department that fits me the best, as well as make high production pieces of audio.”
Goldberg said he is looking forward to learning more about how the station works and its different parts.
According to WHJE adviser Brian Spilbeler, the radio station is currently busy in managing its five departments.
“We’re planning on broadcasting, covering different stories (and) running different community events, so we have a lot going on,” Spilbeler said.
