Science Olympiad meeting scheduled for Oct. 6

Science Olympiad is scheduled to conduct a meeting for all team members after school in Room B222 on Oct. 6.

“We’re going to hand out the rule book and talk about all 23 events, and of course it covers all fields of science: chemistry, engineering, all kinds of stuff,” Science Olympiad sponsor Fran Rushing said.

Students also took a test on Sept. 15 over all of the material they will cover during the year.

Rushing said, “(The students) did okay. I don’t think they thought (the test) would be that hard.”

Albert Liu, Science Olympiad member and junior, said, “I thought (the test) was pretty hard, but I passed so it’s okay.” By Nick Andrews <[email protected]>
