Global Giving is preparing for the Indianapolis International Festival scheduled for Nov. 18-21 at the State Fair grounds.

The club is planning on setting up a booth to promote Global Giving. They are collecting donations and providing face painting. The club is preparing by finding volunteers for this three-day event.

“Our club focus is on international relief, so participating in the International Festival really compliments our focus. It is also one of our biggest moneymakers.  The amount of people who attend really maximize the club’s exposure and help us out,” said club sponsor Ryan Ringenberg.

Global Giving is also participating with a new relief program called Falling Whistles.  This program works in Congo to help rehabilitate war-affected children. It is funded by whistle sales and gives each member an opportunity to individually spread the word and help the cause. By Kelly Sheridan <[email protected]>
