Carmel Connects will meet after school on Monday to repair computers and continue reimaging donated computers. In order to achieve its goal of promoting net and computer literacy, the club fixes computers donated from Carmel Clay Schools. It gives the fixed computers to members of the community.
“We want to increase the number of computers we work with and add new members to the club this year,” Levy Kiser, Carmel Connects president and junior said.
The club meets Mondays after school and in class during IT essentials, which is first period on Gold Days.
“At our last meeting we showed new members how to do the reimaging process and talked about net literacy,” Carmel Connects sponsor Margaret Winans said. By Natalie Maier <[email protected]>
