Share the Music Club, a club devoted to performing music and using its talents to help the public, is scheduled to play at Clarian North Hospital on Nov. 13 from 3 to 4 p.m.
“Two ladies from Clarian North will be visiting us during the after school meeting on Oct. 26, and speaking to us about volunteering and music therapy,” said Shaina Pan, junior and co-president of the club. Pan and the other co-president and sophomore, Sunhee Han, have been planning many events at Clarian North. They plan on playing a couple of classical selections, mostly likely pieces for a quartet or trio.
“They do an incredible job of doing what they do, the leaders of this club are phenomenal,” said Soo Han, sponsor and director of Carmel High School’s orchestra. “I am really proud of all the work they do, it’s a great experience contacting and interacting with the community. It takes courage to pick up the phone and offer their services.” By Taylor Acton <[email protected]>
