FCCLA plans fundraising meeting for Jan. 5

Jordan Bear, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America Club (FCCLA) president and junior, said she is looking forward to the first club meeting of the semester which will take place after school on Jan. 5 in Room A100.

“I think this meeting will be really important because we will be discussing some of the fundraisers for this new semester and how to set them into action,” Bear said.

FCCLA sponsor Lila Torp said this meeting will include setting up some basic plans for the upcoming fundraisers. She said that she does not know exactly which fundraisers the club will be participating in until the meeting. According to Torp, the club hopes that the fundraisers will help FCCLA raise more money than those from previous years.

“I think this meeting will be a great way to kick off the new semester by getting all the members together to discuss all their ideas for fundraising,” Torp said. By Erum Rizvi <[email protected]>
