WHJE’s College Info reports give opportunity to learn about schools

On Sept. 16, 2010, WHJE, the CHS radio station, uploaded podcasts of information from colleges around the country on their website, www.whje.com. Olivia Moore, freshman, said, “Even though college is still four years away for me, I really liked listening to the College Rep Audio. I’m interested in Yale University as well as Butler, and I couldn’t make it to the meetings, so it was really convenient to be able to go onto the website and listen to them.”

Shivani Bajpai, sophomore and radio student said, “It was cool that we did the College Rep Audio. I think it gave students a good opportunity to hear about colleges that they are interested in, yet they didn’t have to miss any class time.” By Caitlin Muller
