On Feb. 19, the women’s basketball team continues its postseason in Regional play, which is being held at Decatur Central High School. The team plays Warren Central at 10 a.m. in its opening game. If the team wins, it will play the winner of the Ben Davis versus Center Grove matchup. That game has a 7 p.m. start time.

According to Head Coach Scott Bowen, “We will rely on our defense and transition offense. They have been our strengths the entire season.”

Varsity guard and junior Blaire Langlois said, “In our next game we have to continue to play as a team and work hard this week to prepare ourselves.”

In Sectional play, the team defeated Zionsville 77-27, Hamilton Southeastern 55-40, and then Westfield 51-34 in the championship game. Langlois said, “We played together as a team like we have all season.” By Reuben Warshawsky <[email protected]>
