Greyhound Connections to begin application process for next year's group

According to Olivia LaMagna, Greyhound Connections president and senior, Greyhound Connections, a club at this school involved in helping new students adjust, has distributed applications for next year to current group members.

“Applications were just handed out for current members,” she said. “Current members receive their applications a few weeks earlier. Soon they’ll be available for the masses.”

LaMagna also said the group had a discussion about how to improve.

“We talked pretty intensely about how to better ourselves and make the group more effective,” she said. “Usually the second semester is pretty slow for us, which is why we wanted to

talk about ways to stay relevant and involved with the new students.”

Sponsor Joe Stuelpe said via e-mail the group is run and led by LaMagna and senior Elaine Lynch.

Amy deOliveira, Greyhound Connections member and senior, said those interested in next year’s group should pick up applications in Mr. Stuelpe’s room when they become available.

“We haven’t set a specific date for when applications will become available to everyone,” deOliveira said. “But when they are here, I think everyone should consider applying. I have loved my experience in the group.” By Nina Underman <[email protected]>
