Recycling Club to not meet this year

The Recycling Club was disbanded this year due to its similarity to the Environmental Club. According to club sponsor Mike Meyer, it was an idea he had with another teacher, backed by several students. Although the idea did officially become a club, it never met, nor did it ever have any members.

Although the Recycling Club no longer exists, its duties are covered by the Environmental Club and Meyer’s fourth period class, which goes around the school collecting waste for recycling. Through their collaboration with Environment Club, the school’s large amount of paper waste is properly handled. If you want to help the school recycle, Mr. Meyers says, “Go to Environmental Club!”
