The Accents and Ambassadors are continuing to prepare for the biggest show for the choral department, ‘Holiday Spectacular.’ Tickets will go on sale to the public on Nov. 3 and can be purchased at the CHS bookstore. The show is Nov. 30, Dec. 1 and Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 3 and Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. in the Dale E. Graham Auditorium.
“It’s just huge and there are alone over 5,000 costumes in the show itself to keep track of,” Kuskye said. “Last year we sold over 40,000 dollars worth of tickets in just two hours. This year we are selling coffees and lattes for the people waiting in line.”
According to Kuskye, the Ambassadors will be performing pop songs “with a twist,” and the Accents will be singing a Lady Gaga song.
“It’s easily my favorite time of the year. At the same time though, it’s a bittersweet moment for the seniors as it is our last one,” Ambassador and senior Sarah Walker said. “Practices are a little bit of everything. Some days we can take it easy and enjoy spending that time together. Others are long and strenuous and take a lot of concentration and patience, especially when we learn new choreography.
“We definitely have our ups and downs. Overall though, it’s worth it.”
