According to Mock Trial sponsor Holly Hochstedler, Mock Trial will have its first competition of the season on Wednesday, Jan. 18 against Fishers High School.
Hochstedler said, “Mock Trial is an interscholastic school competition similar to speech team or debate team. We go up against other schools and each year we get a different case. This year it is a murder case called United States of America vs. Gale Storm.”
Mock Trial will have five regular season competitions over this case this year. There will be a competition each week until the tournament season.
Hochstedler said, “After the regular season, the teams are seeded and the tournament season begins.”
