The Accents and Ambassadors are making final preparations for competition. Both groups will go to Carroll High School on March 10 and North Central on March 17. Admission to the contests are about $15 for the entire day, or $10 for a day or night session. At Carroll, the Accents will perform at 11:35 a.m. and the Ambassadors will perform at 3:45 p.m.
“We all have been working really hard and cannot wait to perform,” Kuskye said.
Kuskye said the Accents and Ambassadors are continuing their three-hour practices every Monday and Wednesday as well as their practices in class every other day.
Ambassador and senior Sarah Walker said she is excited for the Accents to finally join the Ambassadors for competition.
“We all can’t wait for competition,” Walker said. “Usually the Accents and Ambassadors go to the competitions at the same time but this year, because director (Ann) Conrad was absent during the beginning of the year, the Accents will wait and join the Ambassadors on March 10 and 17,” Walker said.
