According to speaker of the House Meredith Baranowski, the last House event for this school year, a volleyball tournament, will take place on May 11 from 1 to 2 p.m. on the outdoor volleyball courts.
For returning students interested in being a Cabinet member next year, applications are due to the Activities Office by the end of the day on May 9. House sponsor Sarah Wolff will post interview times for applicants on May 10. A list of the chosen applicants will be available outside of the Activities Office before or on May 17.
Additionally, a percentage of House members with the most points will be invited to a party with donuts, milk and orange juice on the morning on
May 17.
“In the past this has been a 100-point party, but we had so many points available this year that 100 points was very attainable,” Baranowski said via email. “We are talking about doing a top percentage part to reward really the cream of the crop. It’s hard to truly reward the House members that have done so much, but this is a little token of our appreciation. We couldn’t have achieved what we have without them.”
