Club Med plans to have its next meeting on Oct. 30. Club leaders have yet to decide on what they will feature in their next meeting and are still thinking of ideas.
Co-president and senior Catherine “Kate” Adaniya said, “We are starting to plan for our next meeting and have some ideas in place, but nothing is concrete yet.” Adaniya and other leaders said they want to feature a speaker at their next meeting, but they don’t know who they should ask.
She said, “In our last meeting the father of one of the club members came to talk about the expectations needed to work and get into the medical field.” Adaniya said she hopes that the club can get more speakers like the one at their last meeting.
Sponsor Alyssa Mastin said, “ (The speaker from the last meeting) gave a very good perspective on what the level of work it takes to for kids that want to be doctors. It will help them as they think about (what it takes to be a doctor) in their future.”
