Speech team spreads word to increase size

Speech team members are currently busy with meetings all this week. According to speech team sponsor John Love, the club had a good number of students show up at the meetings.

Love said, “I was glad to see that the amount of people that showed up at the callout came back. It shows that they’re interested and maybe they’ll tell their friends to join too.”

Love said that the team is starting to organize itself and will be having more frequent meetings starting this month.

Dianya Pu, speech team member and senior, said that she is excited for the competitions this year.

She said, “I’ve been doing speech team since freshman year and this will be my last year. I am ready for some fierce competition,” By Hera Ashraf <[email protected]>
