The Pinnacle staff has just finished one of the six major deadlines as of Jan. 22, which included a majority of the publication.
“This past deadline consisted of the biggest amount of pages,” Hannah Liu, Pinnacle Yearbook reporter and junior, said. For this next phase of the year, the Pinnacle staff will begin editing senior ads for the graduating students. According to Terri Ramos, department chairperson for media and communications, there are a variety of sizes and prices that come along with senior ads.
“They’re (senior ads) a lovely way for parents to have a nice momento for keepsake,” Ramos said. Forms for senior ads are in front of the Pinnacle Yearbook classroom. Despite the rush of deadlines and assignments circulating the Yearbook staff, they also have exciting events planned.
“One of our staff members is putting together a scavenger hunt for the rest of the staff in February,” Liu said. Additionally, the Greyhound Media Network basketball game is scheduled for later in the semester where staff from all parts of the communication department will form teams and compete.
“Yearbook has gone through about one semester now of content,” Ramos said. “So there have been lots of page submissions as of now.” The actual publication and distribution that occurs in May is now a major objective for the Pinnacle Yearbook staff.
