In preparation for SoHo Art Show at SoHo Cafe on March 1, National Art Honor Society (NAHS) members will be arranging and perfecting pieces which will be displayed for the general public to see during the show. In the meetings prior to the show, members will plan the schedule and refreshments for the guests attending to show.
NAHS sponsor Jennifer Bubp said the members learn essential life skills that will help them with scheduling major events for beneficiary causes in the future.
“I love the diversity of the opportunities we have to serve and teach the students that their art can serve a greater purpose,” Bubp said.
Ana Veros, NAHS member and sophomore, said, “I really enjoy NAHS meetings because I connect with peers who enjoy art as much as I do.” By Valliei Chandrakumar
