Can you give a brief description of what CHS Timmy is?

CHS Timmy is a club that works to reduce global health inequity.

Why was the club started?

I am very passionate about helping others, and I learned about Timmy (Global Health Organization) through my older brother who is a part of the club at IU and I wanted to bring it to Carmel High School.

What projects and events do you have planned for this year?

Right now we are planning a “Mario Kart” tournament that would raise funds for Timmy Global Health.

Where did the club get its name from?

It got its name from the founder who named it after his brother that passed away at infancy.

What kind of impact do you think the club will have on CHS?

I think it will raise awareness of global health inequalities around the world and the problems of medical access. It will also benefit a great organization.

What are you planning on having accomplished this year?

We are planning on having the club set up and get some fundraisers planned.
