Speech Team ends year with State and Nationals

After finishing the State tournament, speech team prepares for the Nationals tournament in Kansas City, according to speech team sponsor John Love. Love said the two speech team members competing in Nationals are senior Clint Grable and sophomore Adele Zhou.

At the State tournament that was held on March 20 at Fishers High School, many of the speech team made it to the semifinal round but no one made it to the finals. However, Love said this year the speech team has improved.

“The kids did really well. I was impressed. We had a lot more students going to State than we did last year,” Love said. By Hera Ashraf <[email protected]>
