Chess Club has been continuing to receive new members every week at their meetings. The club hosts different events in hopes that the school would notice the new excitement they anticipate to achieve. The events include tournaments against other schools, competition between the students involved in the club and pizza parties presented by them as well.

“I allow the students to plan everything, including pizza parties and tournaments against other schools themselves,” sponsor Margaret Winans said.

The meetings take place every Monday after school in Room F104. Anyone who would like to come is welcomed by the members.

“We started the club in order to meet new people and play chess at the same time. The club at first only had a few members and we wanted more competition, so we decided to have events that would attract more students.
