The PTO is planning for their next big event, the Scholastic Banquet that takes place during the month of April in the cafeterias and Gradfest, which happens at the end of the school year.

“Gradfest is for all of the graduating seniors,” said Gunderman. “This year it is actually changed so it happens before the last day of school,” she said.  “We hope that many of our students are able to attend Gradfest as well as the Scholastic Banquet.”

“We have committee’s that are each in charge of their own area, and right now the next big event that we have is the Scholastic Banquet,” said Kim Gunderman, PTO president.  The Scholastic Banquet is an event that students who get good grades are able to attend.

Speaker of the House and senior David Chiang said, “The Scholastic Banquet was nice because I got to see people I know and to hear the class before mine talk about their experiences.  I looked up to some of those seniors when I was a junior and really valued what they had to say, and I also got to see some of the teachers that I don’t normally see now.”  By Andrew Wang <[email protected]>
